SET OF LOGOS
Cansu Sanlidag, as co-founder and pianist of the Logos Ensemble, plays a central role within this musical ensemble.

The Logos Ensemble's primary mission is to guide the listener toward a contextual appreciation of the chamber music repertoire. It achieves this through narrated concerts that highlight the music's interaction with other art forms, while fostering an authentic dialogue between artists and audiences.

The project is structured around the integration of music into a historical context, thus guiding the listener in their understanding of the work. To this end, the Logos Ensemble offers a thematic program that can be part of sociomusical, literary or historical fields. It should be noted, however, that although the ensemble attaches great importance to historical accuracy and coherence, its approach is not limited to a simple lecture. The music is inserted into a narrative framework that makes room for anecdotes in order to stimulate the imagination. Dialogue also plays a central role in this project, whether between the musicologist and the musicians or between the ensemble and the audience.

It should be noted that this initiative does not only arise from the artist's reflection on his own mode of communication, but also responds to a demand expressed by an audience wishing to explore a sometimes hermetic repertoire. Thus, the Logos Ensemble aims to offer a new approach to this repertoire by guiding the listener, regardless of his cultural capital, into a space that transcends the musical domain to make it a societal object in its own right.
